Stefan Rier from Noa Architects interviewed about his Messner Haus Project, featuring Domenico Mori covering materials

Domenico Mori materials took part to Noa Architects Architectural Studio’s recent project Messner Haus. Noa studio recently published a video-interview to founder Stefan Rier, who renewed an historical building in the village of Sciliar, Alto Adige.

The aim of the project was to restore the ancient house by conserving its original shape, creating a kind of traditional clothing which would encase modern and complex design spaces: it is his childhood dream come true.

That’s why among the many materials he selected for the project, Domenico Mori’s handcrafted covering materials play an important role: the craquelés tiles, A2, Z1 and M1 colors have been chosen for the flooring, while Rattan embossed motif tile in Craquelé A2 color couldn’t be more suitable for the eye catching kitchen covering. Handcrafting tradition and design meet in this ambitious and dreamy project.
